We encourage all attendees to use the most sustainable means of transportation possible to and from the conference. We wholeheartedly support carpooling, public transportation, biking, or walking. We have provided some useful information to help you reach the City of New Bedford in the most sustainable manner possible, more will be posted as it becomes available.

For those of you who will be driving to the conference, we would like to encourage you to do your best to carpool with other conference attendees.

Parking will be FREE throughout Downtown New Bedford during the entire conference. In addition there will be FREE parking at the Elm St Parking Garage, click here for directions to it.

On Friday morning parking may be a bit difficult. We recommend that you arrive early and use the parking garage if possible. Saturday and Sunday parking should not be a problem throughout the Downtown.

Commuter Rail
In addition we will be providing pick-ups and drop-offs to the Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail station that runs from Boston.

Friday, October 24th
Pick-Up – 7:50AM at the Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail Station, will arrive in Downtown New Bedford by 8:30AM.
Drop-Off – The shuttle will leave the Zeiterion Theatre at 5:05PM to make the 5:57PM outbound train out of the Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail Station.

Saturday, October 25th
Pick-Up – 9:38AM at the Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail Station, will arrive in Downtown New Bedford by 10:10AM.
Drop-Off – The shuttle will leave the Zeiterion Theatre at 6:15PM to make the 7:00PM outbound train out of the Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail Station.

Sunday, October 26th
Pick-Up – 9:38AM at the Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail Station, will arrive in Downtown New Bedford by 10:10AM.
Drop-Off – The shuttle will leave the Zeiterion Theatre at 3:15PM to make the 4:06PM outbound train out of the Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail Station.

Hotel Shuttle
We would like to provide pick-ups and drop-offs at the Best Western, Marriot Residence Inn and Comfort Inn in Dartmouth, and the Hampton Inn in Fairhaven. If you are staying at one of these hotels and would like to use our shuttle service please call, 508-748-0816, so that we can confirm your pick-up and drop-off.

Biking and Walking
Both are great for us and the planet, unfortunately Downtown New Bedford is not the easiest place to access by either. Please visit Google Maps and theie new walking maps, and be safe at all times, we will have plenty of refreshments for weary travelers.
